curling Rock handle fundraiser

The Deer Trail Curling Club offers the chance to purchase a curling rock handle.

Put your name, your family or business name or the name of a loved one on a handle.  Handles can be purchased for $250.00. You can even request a handle that corresponds to the position that you curl so that you might be able to throw your rock when on that sheet!

Proceeds from the sale of rock handles on Sheets B and C were used to purchase the new tables and chairs for the lounge.

Handles on Sheets A and D  were also sold. Proceeds from the sale of these
handles were used to purchase TV monitors and cameras at the far end rings to improve the viewing of play in the lounge. These were installed the summer of 2016.

Please contact Danielle at 705-848-6410 or submit the form below if you are interested in being part of our club’s legacy with the purchase of a rock handle. Handles on Sheet E are still available.

Our curling facility gratefully acknowledges the financial support of the Canadian Curling Association through its Curling Assistance Program.
In December 2014, our club President applied for a CAP grant from the CCA (now Curling Canada) in the Bricks and Mortar section. This April our club was one of 16 successful applicants (out of 75) to receive a grant of $8000.00. This plaque will be displayed in our club lounge. Thank you to the CCA (Curling Canada) for this much needed money, which will help defray many of the costs incurred  with our pipe project and other club upgrades.
